Arcade card pro is for use with the cd-rom2 briefcase unit, or on a US Turbografx-16+region mod/convertor + CD Rom unit.
The Arcade card duo is for the Japanese Duo, Super CD-rom2 unit or a US duo with region mod.
The difference between the Arcade Card Pro and Arcade Card Duo is that the Arcade Card Pro has System Card 3.0 + Arcade card. You required a system card to run cd games on the Original add on CD systems.
Since Duo’s and the SUPER Cd-Rom2 Add on came with System Card 3.0 built in, the Arcade Card Duo only came with the Extra ram needed for the arcade card but no system card 3.0 ram.
